Loop OPTi Runner

The Loop OPTi Runner from Loop Tackle Design Europe is the second smallest model of the OPTi series and fantastic up to rod class 7. The design of the OPTi series has become a world famous sight.

The OPTi - reels have a large-arbor spool in a unique V-design. This allows a fast line retraction and a lower memory effect. The backbone of the OPTi series is the highly efficient and extremely strong Power-Matrix braking system ( carbon brake discs ).

The brake system of the reel is completely waterproof and absolutely salt water resistant. A completely closed reel cage is much more expensive to manufacture. However, this achieves two important advantages: First, a much higher torsional stiffness is available and the line can not slip through a gap.

The Loop OPTi Runner starts as smooth as butter and works absolutely jerk-free. In addition, the braking system is extremely finely adjustable. Due to the enormous diameter (115mm) you can crank up very fast line. This helps in many situations when the fish does not play along as we would like.

Due to the low weight of only 235g, you can create with the Loop OPTi Runner really dreamlike combinations with rods up to class #7.

The reel is made of aircraft - aluminum and stainless steel. The finish is a saltwater resistant protective - anodizing. Also, a spool change is done in seconds.
