The Semperfli Kapok Dubbing is probably one of the best dry fly dubbings on the market! The natural fiber is obtained from the kapok tree also called silk wool tree and is a very good floating dubbing. Since this material is also used in the manufacture of life jackets, its buoyancy should not be debated, it holds 30 times its own weight above water.
The fibers, which are on average 1.8cm long and have an approximate diameter of 30-36 micrometers, can be used extremely well for all kinds of patterns.
